Welcome to Family Counseling & Psychology Center, PC, where our mission is to improve the quality of people's lives by utilizing the best mental health treatment methods available in a caring, compassionate and confidential manner. Family Counseling & Psychology Center, PC, originated in 1999 and has grown into a large private practice with three service locations that serve the Quad City area.
Our diverse staff includes Licensed Clinical Psychologists, Nationally Certified School Psychologists, and many Master’s level Social Workers and Psychotherapists. Our large staff provides many areas of expertise and allows us to offer a variety of mental health services that serve individuals of all ages. We offer individual psychotherapy sessions, family counseling services, marital counseling services and group counseling services. We also offer psychological evaluations, psychological testing, and educational testing for adults and children.

Mikaela Schultz
Mikaela is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Iowa and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. She specializes in working with teens and adults, and primarily sees individual clients age 13 and up but occasionally will work with families. She works with people struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, LGBTQA issues, and addiction. Her work is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but she also has training in trauma care and motivational interviewing.
