Dr. Collin Lodico, Ph.D.
Owner/Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Lodico is a licensed clinical psychologist and owner of Family Counseling & Psychology Center, P.C. He grew up in the Quad Cities and graduated from Moline High School in 1982 as co-valedictorian of his class. Dr. Lodico then attended Saint Louis University where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree. While in St. Louis, he played four years of collegiate baseball, and graduated with high honors (Magna Cum Laude). Dr. Lodico then attended Bowling Green University in Ohio, where he obtained his Masters Degree and then his Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology. He went on to complete a Clinical Psychology Internship at the University of Chicago Medical Center before moving back to the Quad Cities. Currently, Dr. Lodico is licensed to practice psychology in both Illinois and Iowa. He is also on the National Registry of Health Care Providers in Psychology.
After moving back to the Quad Cities, Dr. Lodico worked in a private practice for several years before starting his own private practice in 1999. Since that time, Family Counseling & Psychology Center, P.C. has grown from two individuals into a large private practice with three offices that serve the Quad Cities area. The main office is located in Bettendorf, Iowa and employs sixteen mental health professionals who provide a wide range of psychological and counseling services. Children, Adolescents, and Adults are served in a caring and professional manner. Services are also provided in Rock Island, Illinois and have been provided in Aledo, Illinois for many years, in conjunction with the The Family Crisis Center.
Dr. Lodico resides in Moline with his wife of 27 years, Melinda. They have three adult children, their son Ryan and twin daughters, Megan and Madison. In his spare time, Dr. Lodico enjoys hiking, biking, running, and spending time outdoors, but loves being with his family more than anything else.
Types of Services Offered
Dr. Lodico works with all age ranges (adults, adolescents, and children). He also provides marital and family counseling services. Dr. Lodico uses many cognitive therapy techniques, but works with each client to formulate treatment goals and an individualized treatment plan. He has extensive experience in working with a wide range of problems and issues including but not limited to: anger management, anxiety disorders, ADHD, childhood behavioral problems, depression, bipolar disorders, stress management, marital counseling, adolescent behavioral problems, panic disorders, social anxiety disorder, domestic violence, addictions, learning disabilities, autism, obsessive compulsive disorder, PTSD, and general life adjustment issues.
